CULTURAL TOUR TO HARBERTON RANCH
Program: Full day tour.
Full day tour to Estancia Harberton, driving from the city of Ushuaia towards east on National Route 3, the glacial valleys, Peat bogs, beaver dam, were part of our landscape.
We left the national route number three and continue along a gravel dirty secondary rout to arrive at the Estancia Harberton.
We observe during the tour:
Deciduous Forest: High deciduous Beech, Low deciduous Beech, Fire bush, Beberis buxifolia, berberis ilicifolia, Prickly Heath, Pernettya pumilia, Geranium magellanicum, Anemone multifida, Streaked maiden, Viola Commersonii, Primula Magellanica, Vicia magellanica, Senecio accanthifoius, Fashine Yellow Orchid, Green orchid, Dog orchid, Blechum Penna-mairna, etc.
Evergreen Forest: Winter’s bark, Pickwood, Evergreen Beech, Fashine, Holly leafed Barberry, Wild courrent, Box- Leafed Barberry, Empretrum rubrum, etc.

In the Harberton Farm:
Visit the Museum Acatushun: We’re going to learn about the life and characteristics of marine mammals. Biologists will lead us to introduce us to the wonderful life of the Southern Ocean.
Guided tour to Harberton Farm: To know the history and the activities of the past and present of the Farm.
We come back to the city of Ushuaia; it is good time to contemplation and observation of the landscape.
