We descend along the Coastal Trail, surrounded with dog orchids, anemones, ferns and trees like winter’s Bark and Leña Dura. White-crested Elaenias, Rufous-backed Negritos and Chilean Swallows dart among the trees, and Chimango Caracaras, Black-chested Buzzard Eagles, and possibly, Condors may be seen soaring overhead. We drive up to
Lapataia Bay and we finish at the shores of the Beagle Channel, inhabited by nomadic indigenous sea people thousands of years ago. The lunch box is included.

The Tierra Mayor Valley will be the departure point for the hike. During this walk, sceneries of Peat Bogs and Southern Beech Forests will appear, all a landscape formed by enormous glaciers 10.000 years ago. A stop at a spot with nice view will offer the possibility to explain about to the pristine vegetation. Arriving Laguna Esmeralda will take a lunch box and return back.
Day 4: Breakfast. We starts excursion in Ushuaia, driving north to Paso Garibaldi (53 km.), along National Route 3. Once there, at 430 m above sea level, the hiking begins and finishes at the mountain top at about 1000 m. This is the best trip to know the ecosystem above the tree line; the alpine vegetation. You will live a “natural” experience through large peat-bogs, ñire and lenga forest, inhabited by guanacos, beavers and very curious indigenous birds. The lunch box is included. Lodging in Ushuaia.
