MARTIAL GLACIER PHOTO TOUR

We take tour to Martial Glacier area. Reaching the High Andes vegetation, several species of birds can be seen. Passing the timberline, there is a good chance to see the White-bellied Seedsnipe. The High Andes is a special area for photo nature, landscape, and wildlife and macro photography.

The opportunities to photograph: White–bellied Seedsnipe, Gray-flancked Cinclodes, Dark-faced Ground-Tyrant, Ochre-naped-Tyrant, Yellow-bridled Finch, etc.

This tour has been designed in the focus the ecosystem beyond the forest and the vegetation of the High Andes.

Species: Pedunculate Buttercup, Mountain marigold, Myosurus apetalus, Tribelis australis, Wild currant, Native Saxifraga, Field chickweed, Sea pink, Yellow Violet, Mountain violet, Empetrum rubrum, Stick tight, Antartic stick-tight, Stick-tight-Bidiby-bid, Rainberry, Magellan Strawberry, Epilobium nivale, Devil’s strawberry, Perezia recurvata, Perizia pilifera, Hairy Chocolate flower, Perezia magallanica, Bolax gummifera, Lycopodium magallanicum, etc.

Do not forget that one of the most interesting places for a landscape photograph of the Beagle Channel.
